In September 2001, The Michael Moon Band opened for Cheap Trick at  SpiritFest in Kansas City playing for 30,000 people.

The Front Reunion

In 2000, The Front reunited with vocalist Michael Franano, guitarist Mike Greene, Todd Greene on bass and drummer Craig Summy.  The band performed as “The Front” for several months after reuniting, but started going by the Michael Moon moniker by mid-2001.
